A spin in the Trossachs

Post by synXero »

Well, the folks were driving from Edinburgh over to the West Coast today, so I decided to tail them part way then go for a proper drive around the West for a while myself!

Route was basically Edinburgh -> Stirling -> Crianlarich -> Loch Lomond -> Glasgow -> home.

There are some properly nice roads in the Trossachs. I have little in the way of photos because I was having so much fun - but very few of you guys here have seen my car at all, and probably no one recently! The photos are all iPhone jobs so some of them are a bit "censored"... Here goes:

And the last, IMO best one... Showing off my lovely new red recaros!

PS - only one MR2 to be seen today - a black MK3 who beeped, but I think it was possibly at the motorcyclist overtaking rather dangerously, more than it was to me!

Thanks!

The bootlid is really "censored" me off the more I buy other parts, though. That and the crack in the splitter. And the N/A engine lid. And I might take off the G-Limited just because it's a retarded name. We'll see! I am mostly happy with it, however. It's going V6 some day but I suspect it'll be a ways away.

Looks good, particularly the spoiler.

Brings back memories up the west coast, some great roads, so long as the caravan crew aren't around 

It's still not a great name.

And yes, definitely great roads around all those lochs, Lubnaig as well. Not too many caravans on this occasion!

Yep. The legs are CF as well, but I wanted them white and thought it would take much too long to find fibreglass ones... So I just got the CF painted haha! Felt a bit wrong at the time but it looks great :)
