I thought about that, but I'd want the shiny red one with air con for summer, leaving the monstrously powerful and relatively skittish one for the damp / wet / snow covered roads....

Shame the red one's a tin top...instant A/C with the t-bar. Although I remember a very hot day with my 1st N/A driving back from Folkestone with a mate in the car. We had the A/C on blowing into the footwell and the roof off for the rest. I knew how to "censored" fuel away back in the day!

I'm not really a t-bar / convertible fan TBH. I must buy one at some point, but TBH I was pleased that this one is a tin top.

My GTS is a tin top and that has no A/C. Driving 3 hours to Snetterton was NOT fun in 28+ degrees weather

First wedding anniversary this weekend. Probably shouldn't cancel that for an MR2 meet..

Who said anything about cancellation? You shouldn't look at things in terms or either...or...

You can bring your other half to a meet. If she's a bit reluctant, tell it's a nice drive out together and pub meal at a location you've been recommended. Oh look at all those other MR2's in the car park, what are the chances of that!

Clara has been to an MR2 meet before -an ACE cafe meet. Definitely enjoyed it too. Just fairy sure she'd rather be on the spa break thing we've bought & paid for this weekend is all..

Yeah week days don't work too well. I've been leaving an hour and a half early just to sort out WIM. Will see how it goes but would like to make a meet in the red one (if only to prove it doesn't have the same curse as the old red one which broke down on the way to / from every meet I ever tried to attend.

Would be good to have some independent enthusiasts go over the car. Make sure I'm not just blinded by the pretty red paint...
