Driving Events
Dear All,
MR2OC would like to make its standpoint clear on such driving events most of which is just simple common sense. We all love these fun little cars and for a fair percentage of us, the reason we bought them is to get enjoyment out of them on the road. A drive to a meet or spirited country run to a pub lunch is amazing and even more-so when with the same/similar cars and like-minded people. But first and foremost you must keep yourself safe.
You know your car better than anyone else. You are responsible for the condition of your car. It is probably not best to attend a driving event if, for example, you have a rumbling wheel bearing or a drop links is grumbly or a top mount is knocking. It's your car and far more importantly, your safety at stake.
MR2OC will not be held responsible for damage or loss on such events. Anybody attending such events does so on their own free will and responsible for their own actions. Everybody should follow the Highway Code & be respectful to other road users. We cannot tell you how to drive, nor enforce it. However, we do understand that sometimes things can go beyond where they should and, in this instance you need to recognise your OWN ABILITY and not that of the car in front of you. If you do not feel confident, slow down; people will wait for you.
So really, above all... Enjoy yourselves but be safe!
