You'll need to do so pdq otherwise you'll have to turn up in a dress. ;)
We prefer you leave that sort of thing for JAE...

List updated.

Table is booked. One seat still up for grabs. Miss it: miss out.

Indeed. Had you wanted to, you would have had to beat Jim to the draw. ;)

Hopefully. :)

The route includes some roads we haven't done for a while.
Plus a couple which AFAICR have never been included before.

A few more 'pre-flight' things for me to deal with in light of Brands Hatch
Was good to see you Tony - especially with your essential help fixing the issue! :laughing

BTW - the M20 home was chosen for a reason .... the A20 tunnel! We went through it a couple of times lol!

PMs sent.

Please give the garage at the start point some business (fuel/coffee/etc) as we will be using their premises as a free car park!

Guys (Tony especially),

We are so sorry to have missed this. I had messaged Tony last night with apologies.

Basically, we committed ourselves to to much. We are away to Cornwall tuesday in both cars which needed checking over and cleaning. We have LisaC staying at ours for a couple of days while we're away - her car is having work done in Faversham - so we needed to finish decorating the kitchen before we went. Basically make our house ship-shape rather than a decorating bomb-site!

That's not to mention packing!

Had we have come we'd be in blind panic mode now and that's no way to start our holiday.

Most of all we're very sorry to have let Tony down who puts a lot of effort into sorting these runs.

Glad you all had fun though :)

Saw a F40 on the actual road, cruised past us on the motorway on way back.
Epic.

Thanks for the run out as always.

S**t happens. :) I spoke to the pub and they were OK with downsizing the table booking.

You would have been in an even bigger panic if you had made it. :laughing

The pub was absolutely rammed and we had difficulty finding parking spots. Jim and I had to park on the verge further down the road and when it came to leave we found we had been boxed in by a white van man's Vivaro and some dude 's VW Transporter Kombi. It took around 30 minutes to finally run the culprits to earth and get them to shift their vehicles!

I'll forgive you both on condition you attend the next one. :p
You'll need to set your alarm clock though as it will be the usual dawn start.
It will be either 10th or 17th September. Thread will posted in due course.

A 2 mile crawl in a camel train behind a tractor and trailer right at the beginning didn't bode well... Traffic/junctions then made it quite a task to keep even just 5 cars together and whichever road we took we seemed to be cursed with something getting in the way of reasonable progress.

As consolation at least there were some sections where that was not the case. :yahoo:

:th: Came on at M25 J3. It was at Festival Italia at Brands Hatch.
