And if you know you're car is a bit unwell but you do it anyway - it doesn't count as a breakdown
I hope the group & some more regulars continue as much next year, been some good runs this year.
I also hope that kent and east sussex spend some money on resurfacing

Thanks tony for organising and letting me take part in your Kent runs for the last few years , I'm sure andy will help keep it going for another 10 years. It's a shame we had a rough time with the weather and mechanical issues

Right back at youTonyleFrog wrote: ↑28/10/18 16:29 A huge THANK YOU to the regulars and indeed everyone who has participated in the KR over the last 10 years.
I've seriously enjoyed both the drives and the company over the last few years so thank you for making it all happen
Certainly some very memorable mornings over the past few years for a whole variety of different reasons, the final chapter certainly didn't disappoint with its drama's either
Here's to hoping this continues to run on a for a long time yet!

Perhaps it would be easier if Patrick just moved in with you for a few months?
Tony,
What can I say that's not already been said.? My first run was 2009 when I bought a wreck of a Rev2, knackered top mounts, battered and bruised, blowing exhaust. I clung on to PeteJ's rear end with all my might and LOVED IT! It was 6 months or so later I returned with a home-built V6, coilovers and still a rough-diamond car. Things had improved.
Now after many mods, another engine and paintwork Kermit is who we all know and love. A proper B-road weapon! Despite the weather, I thoroughly enjoyed the run and made for some interesting moments and beautiful views. Andy and I both noticed as the sun was shining dimly through the trees the rainbow spray pattern from the car in front.
All I can say is I wish I had attended more over the years. I hope I am back with a vengeance next year
So thank you Tony, they were memorable days that make me smile reminiscing.
Long may the KR continue

Cheers mate.
Nostalgia corner: August 2009. A mere 11 weeks after I bought T2.
Gotcha!
V6 FTW!!!!!!!!
Some of the cars.
And the (back then) usual suspects!
Here's a vid a few years later by one of them.
Eagle eyed regulars may recognise some of the locations: one in particular.
