Myself and Clare had a fantastic weekend and just cannot thank everyone enough for making us feel so welcome on our first of many to come weekend shows.
A very special thanks to Lisa and Matt for a well organised event. :notworthy:
Was great to come third in the show and shine competition up against some great cars too. :shocked:
Both nursing our sunburn but JAE here we come. :yahoo:

Was a great weekend to much sun ,drink and fairground rides lol,i'm still deaf after Clare was screaming in my earhole on the Dominator ride :laughing

What a weekend :D Lisa you deserve a medal hun, had a great weekend and was very well organised :th: My first time on the strip and loved it. The adrenaline rush is very addictive, most definately doing that again. Winning best in show really made my day, was genuinly shocked when my name was called out ! Top weekend with great company new and old and like most nursing the sunburn . Cant wait for Jae :cool1:

I only came up for the day today , but had a great day , wonderful job by lisa. :clapping:
i saw lots of people with sore heads , so saturday most have been fun.

Well I've just got back from work. Had to get up at 3:45 this morning to drive to north Wales. I'm very VERY sunburnt and have my cousins wedding to attend on Thursday!!

As much as I would like to take credit for the awesome show I really didn't do much - other than what I was told to do haha!!

On my iPhone so will do a proper post tomorrow. I'm going to bed!!

Cheers Flower - it was a struggle getting up that early, then had to pop back to Cardiff from Lisa's to get the company car before heading to North Wales. Almost fell asleep plenty of times on the way up, had lots of red bull and munchies to sugar myself!! longest 6 hour drive of my life!

Any who..... what a weekend!! I can quite safely say this has been my favourite show to date bar none for plenty of reasons! Saturday was brilliant. First time I took the car up the strip, along with Ant & Carol. Thoroughly enjoyed it and will be doing it again soon. 3 runs in the afternoon, quickest being a 13.9 - which can be improved as I stupidly backed off before the finish line :rolleyes:

Sat night was top fun with all the partying, and myself ,Tony and Kit trying to mix up some songs :whistling:

It was great to see everyone again, and meet lots of new faces. I don't think I managed to speak to everyone but there is always JAE :th:

Again, well done to Lisa (people dont need to thank me for the organising). All I did was follow instructions on the weekend - I will do most things for an easy life. It sure beats getting shouted at :laughing

Oh, and I sunburn update - I started to peel this morning (and still have that wedding to attend on Thursday).........bollocks!!
