Running the strip on Saturday?

Post by shinny »

A few of us from the SW are thinking of getting up to the pod so we can get some good runs in on the strip on Saturday. We're thinking of arriving at about midday, so convoying up early.

Who's up for joining us? :clapping:

Depends on whether i can get my shift covered on Saturday morning, if i can i'll be there around lunchtime and get some runs in,if not i'll be there around 4pm so may have to wait until Sunday depending on how late they keep the strip open.

bit of a newbie to this, how many runs are you likely to get on the sat (how busy does it get) but more importantly is there a chance i wouldnt be able to get a run if i were to arrive at 2'ish?

if you start early your likely to be able to get between 15 - 20 runs for the whole day (should you want to do that many) starting at 2 you will get quite a few runs in (i beleve the track closes at 5). it does get quite busy especally on the saturday (i typicaly had half hour wait on the slip to have a run)
on the sunday its a lot less busy (5-10 min wait) but you do only get 4 runs for your money.
