Err - heavy showers Saturday and Sunday still, and that's the met office? Where you getting your weather reports from?

Will be keeping an eye on the weather forecast and making a decision on Sunday morning.
Don't fancy a repeat of the first time I went to the Pod with the OC.
Some folk spent hours in the queue for RWYB and never got on the strip.
A 90 minute trip to a wet and windy ex-RAF base is not my idea of a fun day out tbh.
If you're not living life on the edge, you're taking up too much room!

Met Office is now showing light showers :th:

Stunning here in Northampton at the moment though

OK, went and saw Chris last night. I now have the sails and the gazebo ready. I am picking up a genny tomorrow evening but I am going to need a hand with a few things...

I am bringing

1. Gazebo
2. Sails
3. Genny
4. 1 Can of Unleaded
5. Speakers
6. Amp
7. Mixing Stuff (For tunes)
8. Lights

Plus all my grub/drink/sleep stuff

We will still need

1. Another Can of Unleaded
2. Pasting table (Or similar)
3. Another Gazebo (Possibly)

So, I have bought, rented, covered a majority of the stuff - need some Saturday peeps to chip in :th:

Well.... if the showers are going to be like they say I wont be going, that soggy field will be quogmire, my car would never get out.

Will asses the weather on Friday night and Saturday morning, if its crap im not going to bother as I live out in crap conditions to often, I dont choose to do it on my time off. Pitching tents in mud turning up to a show with a bogging car, thats if I can get it out of the field.

Made a decision...

With the very real possibility of showers this weekend combined with the lack of a table, I won't pick up the genny tomorrow...

So, all we need is some battery lighting to hang in the gazebo for the later hours.

I think, considering the weather, it would be a waste of time and money

the weather has improved since yesterday now only light showers for a few hours over the weekend.

I'll be there on Sunday as long as funds let me now as a unplanned bill came though the door yesterday.

fingers crossed
