Stuart

You will be very lucky to get a set of Rev5 alloys in good condition. They all seem to peel/blister. When i got my Rev5 they wheels needed a refurb. I got them done cheap, but the place i got them donr cracked both rear alloys. I wanted to keep to stock, i ended getting a set from ebay for £300, however they needed a refurb. I got them done at thewheelspecialist in shadow chrome. I am really pleased with the results.

btw You have seen the car on the brid run last year :th:

They do look nice mate. As I've said on the last page, now I've found out what my wheels are worth I think I'll just get them refurbed. So on your recommendation I've sent that company an e-mail enquiring about it. Cheers. :th:

Just a heads up matey, but I got a quote from www.thewheelspecialist.com myself, but didn't take it (as I only got it out of curiosity). Within a couple of days I've been offered a couple of discounts via email, so don't book them straight in. Sit on the quote a few days and see if they send any offers through.

My initial quote was £352, and within a couple of days I had been offered the same servic for £291.

It was the same with me Jay. I got a quote initially to get an idea of prices. I got a few discount offers including a phone call saying i can get 25% off. Then when i get to get it done, 4-6 weeks later the price had gone back to normal. I cheekily asked if i could have the 25% discount and they agreed.

I am sure though that the OC members get 20% off. PM Rhon as she has arranged it. I can't seem to find it in the discount section.

I don't know what the colour is  the guy that did them has refurbished quite a few sets of MK3 wheels for the local Toyota dealer so it's probably very close to the standard Toyota colour.
I asked him to put a sparkle in it and that's what I got :D love it :th:
If you can hang on till I get home from work (22nd Feb) I'll get the colour/flake combination from him

I sold my Rev5 alloys in near perfect condition for £160! Refurbing plus tyre removal and replacement + balancing is generally about £50/wheel!

If I were you I'd definately keep yours and just have them refurbed as the stock 15's did look a little small.

Well I just got a quote back from the wheel specialist, and they've said £320? Is that steep or about the norm?
