i think you need reverse spacers on the outside of the wheels to pull them into the arches slightly :D

10mm spacers front & back, 215/40/17 & 245/40/17, arch roll - flush, jobs a goodun ;)
I've looked on ebay and they don't seem to do reverse -255mm spacers :confused1:

:laughing

Going to go with 10mm fronts, wheels UK do a kit with longer studs. Will get some tuner bolts for them too and some locking nuts - any other recommendations?

215/40/R17 Falken 452's
245/40/R17 Falken 452's

Is the tyre choice - i rate them for my poxy low powered 6 pot :th:

Just need to wait for the pay cheque this month and they are going on ASAP!

Oh and to fix the car so it moves but that is in hand now :laughing

Cheers chaps :th:

I'm sure you know this, but take it easy for the first couple of hundred miles.
Falkens take longer than most for the release agent to get scrubbed off.
Don't want you giving it beans and ending up exploring the scenery!
If you're not living life on the edge, you're taking up too much room!

What do you need to know about offsets? Looking at your wheel spec the widths are great but the offset (ET) is a tad high. Id say spacers all round.

Id say to fit comfortably you will need to go for extended studs with a 10mm on front and rear. A bigger hubcentric spacer at the rear for more beef.

Dont know if you run coillies but ET45 at 8J upfront on standard struts can be hit or miss depending on the tyre. A 10mm bringing it to ET35 should be fine.

Funny you should mention this as im thinking of experimenting at ET25 on my rears next week!
:th:

Sounds spot on.

Chicane what width are your rears? Ive got some pictures on my home pc from Fatlace / Hellaflush i think with an ET of 18 on the rear without looking silly :D
Hey mate

My rears are 9J x 18 with a 255/35/18. I think they sit flush enough for most people but I wanna go just that little extra at ET25. :D Every 5mm increment seems to make a difference on these cars! :cool1: The arch has been rolled so Im hoping for minimal contact but im no stranger to that. :laughing

I was talking about road use. Of course there is another option.
Get your finger out and take it to the Pod. Some quarter miles and a bit of drifting.

Job done in one day. :clapping:

I think the below are both sub ET20 on the back clearly not running 255s though :) The top image is on 19s btw. Ive had to cancel my coilovers and man wheels for now due to loosing my job just before christmas  ah well shouldnt be long...

Jesus those wheels and lowering are a bit drastic for me!

I have speed bumps to negotiate daily!

Will get another pic side on once the wheels are on with the right tyres and i have my Toms skirts on and Rev5 spoiler - should finish it off then :D

HM you mean man!

I have the 16inch versions of these whels, 7j front, 8j rear. (Very sad, crying face)

I love my wheels. Now you have the wider ones I'll have to find something to jump off ha ha.

Look stunning :)
