16" 6.5j rear tyre sizes ?

Hi there was just wondering what size rear tyres i could go for, my wheels are 16" 6.5j and i already have front tyres 205-45-16 but am looking for some diffrent size rears.

any info would be very helpful thanks

or 225/45 it should be,but it would be on a limit on a 6.5

standard the rears are 7 on a rev2 mk2 onwards

what model do you have?

I have a 92 turbo mate, also on the lookout for some cheap hubmetric spacers but need to find a good rear tyre 1st

A turbo on 7's is tricky enough an early model even more so. On 6.5 I would look at maybe swapping the alloys as quite a few good bargains around at this time of year.
