SORTED - Wheel Collection from Chippenham.

Post by d-peg »

I am considering a new set of rims for Kermit....

I have found these..

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/5x114-3-Wheel ... 1c4ca4401b

So clearly a Veilside 3-pc split rim.
Yes I know they're 8.5 and 9.5 wide which may cause me grief. Certainly needing an arch roll & flare (but then I have the tool to do it ;) )... However, without knowing the offsets do you think they're worth a punt?

Is there anyone on here that may well know what the ET is on these?

Thanks in advance :)

if they're from a Supra they will be pretty much the same as the offsets of my old Enkei RS Evolution wheels... of which I believe they were ET35 up top and ET38 at the back...

Nope - ad says 'off a skyline gtst'. They're Veilside Andrew Racing V wheels. The offsets could be fine for a MR2 - or not! Is the seller too lazy to measure them or does he not know how? Though that won't be an issue if they end up on another Skyline...

I have asked him what the offsets are - even told him it'll say on the back face of the wheel centre normally or on a sticker on the inner barrel. He seems uninterested in helping.

I am erring toward taking a punt on them (obviously knocking a few quid off with an offer) then, if they fit happy days; if not, sell them on listing the ET!

To add, the majority of the ones that come up for sale (and that's not very often) are 18s. AFAIK, 17s are about as common as unicorns.

Honestly, I'm not interested in squeezing wheels of that size under my arches... but I still think they'd look awesome against my blue! :th:

Are you sure there is any room left at home for another set of wheels,as you already own more than a F1 team. [emoji1]
