Had Dino settings but camber wasn't enough and is definitely safe as plenty of understeer.
Had the front toe out, can't remember without looking at old printouts but it was out 10-20 minutes.
Was a less relaxing, more aggressive drive, it was good but follows the road eagerly.

Re: Camber adjustment
Ben, stick with Dino settings to be on the safe side. Rev3 settings are very similar anyway.

Re: Camber adjustment
I'd advise Dino settings but try and get a bit more negative camber on the frontstuMR2eye wrote:Ben, stick with Dino settings to be on the safe side. Rev3 settings are very similar anyway.

Re: Camber adjustment
I was trying for more negative camber on the rear, as even with 245/35 rears I was running over the shoulders onto the sidewalls when cornering. On track.
I bought eibach camber bolts, but only gave me more positive not negative

Camber adjustment
Just need to measure yours Ben and see where it is at the moment. Adjustments can then be made. They'd only rub on the rear with less negative camber! Perhaps that's why they are set as they are:).

Re: Camber adjustment
I just run toe in on the front and neutral on the rear. No camber adjustment on the rears of mine but I just look at the tyre wear, if its even across the tyre you don't need to even worry about it. Have not had a full wheel alignment for some time now, if the car goes in a straight line when you let go of the wheel and the tyres are lasting and have even wear then don't touch it. You would probably need to make so mods to get a more adjustable set-up for the track as more negative camber would be required in the rear but for road use and as long as the car has not been in an accident that has stuffed the wheel geometry then your probably better off just keeping the right tyre pressures than worrying about the camber.
Our roads are full of clowns who have lowered their cars and are visibly running MASSIVE amounts of negative camber which is visible to the eye, no test equipment required. This is a "Look" that some people go for.

Camber adjustment
Interestingly, looking at Ben's car the other day he has camber adjustable top plates on the front only. However since the adjustment screws can't be accessed due to being partially hidden by the strut tower then I can see why adjustments are more likely at the hub.

That's normal for adjustable top mounts,stuMR2eye wrote:Interestingly, looking at Ben's car the other day he has camber adjustable top plates on the front only. You have to jack it up and crack all the nuts off to lower it down to get Allen key in.
Most slide, teins don't, you have to remove bolts completely and screw in different holes

Re: Camber adjustment
/\
I did wonder this.
But dropping it will potentially send out other settings? Or not?
Here is the WIM settings done by the previous owner. You can see the 'suggested' settings and what he or WIM were aiming for.
I need a recheck anyhow when the new wheels go on but question is do I go for the same settings?

Camber adjustment
They look pretty good Jim.
Standard Rev3 Toe settings (0 degrees 6 minutes front and 0 degrees 24 minutes rear). Bit more camber than standard.
