On the same subject...sort of....

Ive just bought some rays alloys which are the same width all round with staggered tyres.

I also received some wheel bolts with them but i need to get some locking wheel nuts for them. What locking nuts would you recommend?

Also what size spacer would you recommend and if needed what length wheel studs?

Hi Mark, Nice looking wheels, I wouldn't bother with locking nuts tho if someone wants them they will nick them !! I would replace the tyres tho ! See you at Japfest !

Vesta Sesto Competition wheels are cast not forged.

Vesta Co. Ltd was the first company in Rays Engineering casting division. It was founded in 1988. Name changed to Rays Foundry Co. Ltd in 2000. In 2005 all Rays various casting division companies were integrated as RAYS C.W.P. Co. Ltd.

Unfortunately any refurb will mean losing the SESTO logos which is a shame as they are such rare wheels.

A side question in relation to Staggered wheels... did all Rev's of Mk2 MR2's come with staggered wheels? Just noticed my stock 14 inch alloys on my Rev1 aren't staggered. Did the Rev1 originally come with staggered wheels?

Pretty sure Rev1 wheels are staggered too, they just came with less of a difference in tyre width.
