+1 on the RS3s. 205/50 & 225/50 on 16"s. Seem OK size wise but 45 profile may have been slightly better in the handling stakes.

I had those on the back on the stock wheels.

They were so terrible in the wet they sailed past the point of being scary, right to the point where they were just hilarious in the wet. Grip? Where we're going, we don't need grip.

I agree Stu but the guy threw them in for free, i couldn't say no :D
If i can come across a pair of 45's in the future, i'll try and snap them up.

Free is good:).

I had 50 profile front & 45 rear on these 16s when I got my car. Always thought it would handle better with the front lower and not higher than stock. Let us know how it drives.

The 50 profile is only worth running if you have 195 width tyres - when you switch to 205 (and you should), 45 is what you want.
