15" wheels

Post by chrisgoldson »

Hi Guys

Some advice please if possible. I have only recently bought my MR2 (year 2002)

I am looking for some nice 15" wheels for my pre facelift Mk3 and have been offered some fox 15"alloys with Nanking Ultra Sport NS11 low profile tyres all 195/45R 15 78V

There is obviously no front to rear bias but would these be suitable please?

Best Wishes

Chris

Yes but would definitely advise fitting the correct tyre stagger, nankangs are not the best tyres but I have had them on a car before without issue.

The current front tyres on the wheels would give you a overall diameter of 556mm,therefore if they will fit the wheels I would recommend going for 215/40 15 which would give you an overall diameter of 553mm.
If you wanted to fit 205/40 then that would give you an overall diameter of 545mm a reduction of 11 mm.
