Profile 60 tyres on rev4 turbo
Hi guys I was looking at tyres for my stock wheels, in summer I am getting work equips refurbed but right now I need 2 rears the proper 50 profile tyre selection is pathetic and I seen a pair of rainsports I want but in a 60 profile anyone ran this profile on 225 rears before?
Past - Caribbean blue Rev 3 NA
Present - Azure Blue Rev 4 Turbo

Mmmm - tractor tyres!
The effects would be:
22mm ride height gain at the back
22mm reduction in arch clearance
~7% speedo under-read (compared to what you currently have, which is likely an overread from my experience)
It's not crazy, but it's not right either. Rainsports are pretty decent tyres, though, so I understand the temptation.

That was my concerns bud, arch clearance would be tight and I like how it handles on coilovers as it stands, t1rs for now I suppose.

Yeah, I'd think twice about it if you're lowered... although I guess standard wheels have weak enough offsets that you might not clip the metal arches?

A friend went for the 60 profile uniroyals.
So much wall movement, looks out of control from behind as the flex looks like the wheels are going to leave the tyres.
As well as the horrible feeling whilst driving it squirming about.
Not recommended
