Tyre Size Advice

Post by l1nuxxx »

Hi

I've got a set of Enkei WRC Tarmac evos. They are 17 inch and an offset is et35. The wheels came with 225x45x17 toyo proxies and on the rear they clear ok but on the front they foul the spring seat in the shock as they are to tall. I'm looking to get a staggered set up and was wondering which would be the correct size setup to use and to see if I need any kind of spacers.

Many Thanks

Andy

One thing missing from the original post - rim widths.
This will have a bearing on the first figure in the tyre spec.

A pair of Hankook V12 EVO2s are £147.38 delivered from Camskill.
For a comparison my preference is Goodyear Eagle F1 which will be £163.18 from the same supplier.

Fitting will be extra but that cost depends on who you know. ;)
If you're not living life on the edge, you're taking up too much room!

Been super happy with the Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta's all round on mine. Grip so far in all conditions has been excellent. 215/40R17 front, 245/40R17 rear.

My current preference is for Uniroyal Rainsport 3's. Great all round tyre for me.
