Is width an issue moving to 16's

Post by Quintain »

I've settled on upgrading to 16' as recommended in the knowledge base. i.e. 16x7 ET35 205/45/16 front and 16x8 ET38 225/45/16 rear. I have BC Racing coilovers, lowered 20mm.
Using willtheyfit.com I get
Front: Compared to your existing wheel, this new wheel will have an inner rim which is 2.7mm closer to the suspension strut. The outer rim will poke out 22.7mm more than before.
Rear: Compared to your existing wheel, this new wheel will have an inner rim which is 5.7mm closer to the suspension strut. The outer rim will poke out 19.7mm more than before.

Has anyone tried this setup and had issues with the wheels snagging on the suspension or poking out from the body?

Thanks
