As per title?
I have just changed to Kumho Ecsta Le Sports 235/40/17 rear and 215/40/17 fronts, all Y rated.
I run 30 psi in the fronts and 32 psi in the rears.
I am actually seriously impressed with these having bought and used much more expensive rubber in the past.
Oh, and is anyone running Uniroyal Rainsports? If so, what do you think of them?

Well those are my principles, and if you don't like them... I have others.

Running stock 15inch rims with semi slicks on the road. Just love the Toyo R888's.
Running about 38psi rears and 32psi fronts. If you google these tyres they need to be in the 40's when hot when on the track.
Running lower pressures was just hopeless on the track, just kept spinning the car it was a joke.

Goodyear Eagle F1 Assymetric 2. 215/40/17 front, 245/40/17 rear.
The stock pressure differential front to back for a turbo is 4psi.
I see no good reason to depart from it. I use 30/34psi.
The most important thing for me is a tyre's wet weather performance.
Especially with the changeable weather in the UK.
I've been doing the Highland Drive every year but one since 2009.
Up there you can get major variations in a remarkably short time/distance.
Another factor is that the latest version is Assymetric 3.
Which means the older 2, at least for now while stocks are still available, costs less.
All the reviews suggest the Assymetric 3 is behind its competitors.
When the 2 is discontinued I may well switch brands.

I use
Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 215/40R17
Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 245/40R17
I run 29f 32r.
Like Tony, main purchase for this kind of tyre is it's rain handling ability and they are fantastic. The car simply does not aquaplane (at least when the tyres are/were new) (I have driven through 2 inches of standing water at 80 in the last dfew months and it grabbed a little but I ddin't lose steering). Dry grip also seems pretty ood but won't be up there with an R888 or an AD08R.
Under track conditiions they're going to get warmer, so I suspect that means a free increase in pressure.
Andy Walsh at Car Limits recommends adding 5-8psi over stock pressures for chucking the car round on his airfield days, but there's lots of tyre squealing and smoke on those days and it's a very rough surface.
