Re: Japfest Ticket Fiasco & Royal Mail - An Apology
Bearing in mind that the replacements will be sent by post, if anyone does require Plan B it will need to be activated pdq. For the tickets to reach people on or before next Friday, they will need to be sent by Wednesday at the very latest.
I'm no longer affected but, given the small window of opportunity, some clarification might be helpful. I assume those affected will need to contact Kelsey Publishing direct. If it has to be done via the OC that is going to compress the time window even more.

Re: Japfest Ticket Fiasco & Royal Mail - An Apology
Went and got my ticket this morning and came home to find the note saying I had the £1.11 to pay and to collect it from monday
hopefully everyone will get there tickets over the next couple of days and not have to use plan b.
(the reason they gave me for the under postage was that the letter was too long and therefor fell into the large letter category) I think this should be raised with the organisers as to why it could not of been sized to fit in a standard letter envelope and obviously a good rant at the post office clerk who incorrectly advised you of the postage needed.

Re: Japfest Ticket Fiasco & Royal Mail - An Apology
Right then,
We have a backup plan but it really is last minute. I need everyone to check at their local sorting offices for these packages before you put your names down on this list as I will have to pay for the postage of the replacement tickets to everyone.
So, if by Tuesday evening, there are some still stuck in Royal Mail's system, I will pay for the replacement postage tickets and get them sent out on Wednesday direct from the source.
As these tickets are being sent in such a way that they WILL get there on time, please please please check first. Any missing tickets are going to be expensive for me personally.
