Gutted that I missed this one, looks like it was an awesome day and I love driving up on Dartmoor (not taken the 2 up there yet though). Perfect weather too so I really feel like I missed out, would've been great for taking the sunroof out by the looks of it.

Glad you all managed to find a nice spot to stop on the way back. Sorry I really had to shoot off or else I'd have dragged you of to some other nice spots.

I've been working on the video footage from the meet last week over this weekend. Just doing a test render now so should be along within the next couple of hours assuming it's not too big for YouTube.

I think I've managed to capture the essence of the meet and I think it's going to make those who didn't come even more gutted than they have already indicated

MR2OCSW_20090419 Meet on Megavideo

30 odd min video from shots taken on my camera phone as a reminder of the day. Starts leaving Exeter services and heads down through the traffic to the Swan's Nest. From there on to the A38 and then the gateway to Dartmoor.

Apologies for the messed up sound track, I've tried fixing it and re-rendering it repeatedly but it always messes up somewhere. Annoying as it plays back fine in the editor. My suggestion is turn the volume down and stick on your favourite driving music.
If I can find time I'll mix the soundtrack up separately and re mux it.

Just watching it on Megavideo now for the first time.

Drat. Megavideo has a watching time limit for non paid members. Still it's enough to watch this. Guess I'll have to consider splitting it in to four parts for you tube.

Can't post it on youtube because it's 32 minutes long and you tube only allows 10 minutes max.

I'll split it into 4 parts and upload to youtube.

Or if anyone can suggest any other video sites that accept ogg/vorbis (theora) files I'll happily upload there.

I'm also quite happy to stick the video on my web host and let people download it. but you'll need to be able to play ogg vorbis files in your chosen media player.

I'll also try to re-encode as a straight flash swf file and put it up with the free flash player I have.

Oh yeah and one more edit. Been away working in Kent all week. Just got back
