AFR Tuning open day - 26th april PICS
had a good little meet today, i forgot my camera but managed to get a few on the phone.
was good to see topguns & JimGTS's cars on the rollers.
I didnt have a chance to introduce myself, but i was there with my smg mk2 NA.
was a really good day and look forward to next year!
my rather sorry looking MR in its winter shoes (advans going back on next week!)
all in all, a good day out, just a shame i didnt actually introduce myself!

AFR Tuning open day - 26th april PICS
Was a good day. Bit miffed about some of the results, but none the less I got 343hp at the flywheel (at 18.5-19psi)
Couldn't get a dyno sheet of this as the guy lost my result. So I got a sheet of my lowest run, thanks for that, LOL.
No real idea about torque either on this run.
Still, I think I got most powerful mr2 of the day. Even tho only half a dozen ran, LOL.
Unfortunatly have been told I got manifold leak somewhere, so guess it's cracked again as the boost was struggling aparently. All in all pretty pleased with the result as I only ran it at 1.3bar today (18.5-19psi). I normally run 20psi on the road. but car takes a battering on the rollers so i thought best to turn it down for run.
Good to meet some new faces, and rob you should have tried to say hi. You must have seen which owners were driving the mr2s when we parked up in front of the dyno.
Nevermind. Some other time ay :-)

Didn't have a clue what to expect from my Rev 3 turbo tbh. Just wanted to get some figures as a baseline.MBland wrote:Looks good day...
What did the mr2's produce?
256.4 atf
201.4 atw
228.5 lb/ft
Dug out the paperwork when I got home and checked the Blitz controller and it's definitely on the standard setting.
Didn't have time get the car serviced before the Highland Drive, so that's the next task.
Then back to AFR to get it all set up properly.

Jeez, that Tamora was LOUD!!!! Hey, you got mine on the rollers.
I don't know why but it seems more pics have been taken of it in 2 months than of the red one in 2 years!

Good to put names to faces....shame the figures on the rolling road were all over the place!!! Stock ecu reving to 8,500rpm.......I dont think so LOL. All the torque figures as well were uttttter tosh so i guess the bhp figures are not much to go by.
Good to meet up with fellow car people though. How nice was the supra doing the burn out!!!!!
