One of my fav cars of the day was an old Mk2 Escort with a Cossie engine that made it all the way through to the semi finals.

E30 with a 5 series 3.5 engine, sounded ace.
E36 that was spitting out flames!
The only hachi roku(levin stlye) there but sounded ace on TB's
MX5 wasn't bad especially as it had nowhere near as much power as the other cars!
