OK guys, a quick search on google later and I have a preliminary route around Snowdonia.

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&sourc ... 510132&z=8

1) Start from Aber.
2) Dinas Mawddwy - http://www.snowdoniaguide.com/dinas_mawddwy.html
3) Pass of Llanberis - http://www.snowdoniaguide.com/llanberis_pass.html
4) Conwy
5) Ysbyty Ifan B4407 - http://www.pointandsquirt.co.uk/roads-wales.html
6) Home for tea time (and US Open tennis if you're into that kind of thing).

132 miles before heading for home should make Monday a bit more interesting, all weather depending of course.

Any takers? :search:

Pete, we should be at Harry Tuffins in Churchstoke no later than 1.30pm. You have my number, so can always give me a shout to find where about we're are :)

Safe journey!

Car's now clean and waxed all ready for tommorow, just a shame the bl00dy thing won't start! Had to push it half the way down the street on my own just to get it going so I could put it back in the garage.

Have a feeling I might have to put my spare starter on in the morn so may be late.

Actually no, I have to get it to Dad's coz that's where the ramps are; Anyway the beers kickin' in now.

It'll start tomorrow, usually does, been worried for years though that I'll have a problem once we get on the grass on the camp site and a bump start is tricky and would probably involve mud at some point.
