Scottish Section Sept 2010 meet - Rotary Charity Run

A day out with a difference . This charity run for Classic cars was staged to raise funds for the Haven, a centre providing holistic support to people affected by life-limiting illness including Cancer, Multiple Scierosis, Motor Neurone Disease, Parkinson's and Huntington's Disease. There was a mix of cars as can be seen in the photos on the link below. We met in East Kilbride for bacon rolls the headed off at 10am down through the picturesque leadhills to meet for lunch at Drumlanrig Castle. This was follwed by another scenic trip (with quiz on route) back to base for High Tea.
A great day out was had by all and it was interesting to meet car enthusiasts form other marques. The day raised £1300 for the Charity with other pledges pending :clapping:
