Forbidden access 403 error

Post by MR2DI4 »

Hi,

Is it just me but this website just jumps in and out of access and throws a 403 error at random. It would appear I can only get on here about half the time now no matter what device I try.

No one else has reported any problems so far. Works fine for me on phone, tablet, notebook and PC. Have you tried any of these ? https://www.mr2oc.co.uk/forum/92/158455.html

Possibly related - at some point, the forum URL changed from mr2oc.uk/forums to mr2oc.co.uk/forum, so if you're accessing old links / bookmarks etc they may be broken. Don't know if that would specifically produce a 403 error though.

That happened as part of a forum software update a month a or so ago, there's redirects in place that should take care of any old links etc, however given he's having problems it may be a good idea to clear his board cookies, cache etc as detailed in the link I posted in my last post. ;)

Redirect doesn't seem to work on everything. A link posted on IMOC years ago for example:

Removing the S does take you to the intended location:
