I have just had to replace the rear tyres on my MK2. They are standard 14" wheels. Unfortunately, after having ordered my 195x60x14 Falkens, they are the wrong tyres for the rear. Some previous idiot owner decided to save money by putting the same size tyre on the back as the front, this only being discovered when the tyres were taken off. As my Birdie is an import, and I don't read Japanese, could someone tell me the correct size tyre for the rear, please. The guy in the tyre place doesn't have the info for imports, nothing before 1994. Mine is one of the early ones, 1990, any info for the MK2 starts at 1991 anyway.
I'm OK for now, the new Falkens are on the rear at the moment, but I want to change them at the end of the month.
Now I know why the back end was so twitchy!
