Thanks all from Mr & Mrs Slipslide
Thanks to everybody on the Highland run for making our honeymoon so special.
We enjoyed every minute of it Special thanks go to Ann, Bob & Pete for organising the event to all that helped with the arrangements, again our deepest gratitude
We had a ball, when I suggested this as a honeymoon to Roisin she immediately said yes without a notion of what would happen on the trip. Boy did we have a blast, both on the roads and the evening activities. Thanks to Ellis for finding “rule the world” (revenge will be mine), to everybody that let me win at pool only to be bet in the final, cheers for throwing your games. The cup will be back to Ireland next year, wait and see. Oh and the surprise with the cake and champagne before setting off on Monday just topped of what is going to be our most memorable holiday ever.
Next year read the booklet, as you shouldn’t follow the MR2 in front of you especially if it’s me on the first roundabout on the first day of the run.
We would gladly travel any road with you all each day for as long a petrol exists, the standard and courtesy of all the drivers was excellent. Loved all the photos and videos.
It’s a credit to you all that things ran so smoothly, here are some of our pictures.
Arrival at Troon, Gwrinkle, Spanky and Pigpen.
Day 1 Catching up after my wrong roundabout exit
Day 1 Stuck in the Traffic jam on A9, quite happily I must say.
Day 2 John O’Groats, the bin shot.
Day 2 John O’ Groats to Ullapool, raining a bit, but the roads had more grip in the wet than Irish roads in the dry.
Day 3 to Applecross!!!
Day 3 down from Applecross!!!
Day 4 Moorefield Motel,
Thanks to all of you
For making these two, a very happy honeymoon couple.
Must start a collection of these now.
Sorry for the late posting we have been up to our eyes since we got back.
Till we cross paths again, “may the road rise to greet you, and may the wind be at your back”

No I didn't (Poor MOG and RR87 got it bad)I had a load of tubby's and V6's in the way, beware the power of the 3SGE.
Oh and if you are going next year Mark, I hope Applecross is on the route for you, I want to do it at night so I know there are no cars coming.
