Hi mate cheers for that! Hadn't seen that one, though unfortunately it's red and I'm a bit sick of red cars after owning two red MK2s!

I did see a nice white one on adtrader though, that's one place I hadn't looked before.

Is there anywhere else that I might be missing? I've searched Pistonheads, Autotrader, Adtrader (as of 5 minutes ago) eBay and the classifieds too.

Thanks again :th:

Hi, I’m looking to start my MK1 journey and looking to find and buy my very own, what things should I be looking for while viewing or purchasing an MR2? Rust? Service history? Also how much should I be looking to pay for one?

Not Plan B again!! Why don't we just go with plan B in the first place?

Read this thread from the beginning, it contains the information you are seeking, prices may be somewhat different, but the info is still relevent. Basically body condition is everything.

You aren't kidding about that. I see low-ish milage cars in good condition with asking prices some way over £10,000 nowadays, and there's one up at the moment over £20k.

Does anyone know if people are actually paying these sorts of prices for good mk1s, or are certain owners and dealers kidding themselves?

I own a more or less mint example with 40,000 miles on the clock that I'm vaguely wondering about selling and I honestly have no idea what its real market value is.
