We were discussing this briefly at the meet last night and feel it's probably a lot down to GWR and Ferarri. As the one in Japan was set as Longest Parade of Ferarri's ( http://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/rec ... _cars.aspx ) means everybody else has to follow suit. It also means they dont have to subcatagorise for MR2 / Supra / AE86 / Corrolla / Yaris / Blah blah blah.

So - maybe it could be one massive event next time round. But personally i'd like to see it as all MR2's :)

:yahoo: at last!!!

Roll on WRA3 but where though? - We'd need a longer track!

There's enough MR2's about surely (1000+ at MR2000) but I really like the idea of an all Toyota day!

About time. Well there it is, hope this goes in the book or at least on there website.

Agree with Dan tho, if we are going to go for the longest parade of Toyotas we should open it up to Supras, Celicas, not evey Toyota just the main prominent ones.

We can still have just mr2's at the front then Supra's etc.

We'd have a few thousand for that and would deffo smash the record. :th:

I'm sure you don't want to Mick - but does anyone want to post this on IMOC to silence some of the doubters/critics perhaps.?

TBH Dan - we used just under half the track length (i think it was Stowe we used) in our convoy so to get all of the Toyota clubs involved would need a bloody big track (GP - yes please!) We could probably just about make it with 400 cars at Silverstone at the speed we went (20mph) with 3 abreast but maybe 15mph with 4 abreast and some practice. Rockingham has that advantage of the wider track but they don't have the holding areas before going on track that Silverstone do to get all the cars ready or the great organisation by the Marshalls.
