Hello..

I've been fairly ill since Thursday night, having spent most of my time in bed I'm trying hard to get up but not convinced it will happen.

If I do make it I probs won't eat, otherwise it may end up back on the plate

Glad you caught up with us! I didn't realise a few TBer's would be joining us - loved the V6's!!

Apologies to all for my effing Tom Tom, well I won't be using the crappy itinerary thingy again - pants!

I think next time I'll re-think the stop points so If we do get separated (It's going to happen when you cross the major roads) people can plod on to the next meet point.

Thoroughly enjoyed that though - 1/2 a tank of fuel gone and 199 miles extra on the clock. Weather was glorious, scenery fantastic and good to meet new faces and old (I do remember talking to you at JAE Rick!). Hope the food was good at the pub (It smelt nice!), but apologies for not staying long, I've got some work to do this evening before I can stick the F1 on.

Thanks to all those who turned up. Great meet :th:

Uploading pics shortly (courtesy of Macca - Matt's wingman/poser in the German barge).

Didn't get any pics myself, I was having an argument with my Sat Nav (the voice is Eddie Izzard who was constantly telling me off) and after 90 minutes I think I won the argument - he was proper effing and jeffing at me though! :laughing

I'm sure Martin has some good pics of the cars at the meet points :th:

Nice pics Az, good to meet you too. :)

Good mixture of Mk3 Turbo, MK2 N/A's, MK2 Turbo's, 3VZ, 2GR-FE's (Both Rev1 355 replica and MK1) - The Mk1 sounded nasty! (in a very very good way) :yahoo: How did you all fare going up the hill after Newhaven? It was damned steep! Lost traction a couple of times as I had to drop to first at points - glad we didn't meet anything coming the other way! Once on the top though - great road :cool1:

My car had no issues climbing the hill and would have happily done it in 3rd gear, I had to stop due to the chap in front who slowed down a couple of times, so I had to climb it in 2nd, but when we leveled off it was all good,
