I'm in - missed the Highland drive, no reason to miss a fairly local run.

Great stuff Ross :th:

I'm thinking of increasing the run for a few more miles, I just don't think 30 miles is long enough... I'll get the map out and have a look later, after all, there's far too much nice scenery to look at around the area :th:

You could go further down the Fosse way as it is a pretty long road & maybe find some nice b-roads.

Also I apologise in advance to anyone who might get stuck behind me on the twisty stuff, I dont drive the tubby very quickly through the bends  :laughing

Looks like I'm not going to make this now. Just found a screw in one of my rear tyres so this is a no go now as that's my fuel + lunch money gone

Hopefully see some of you at japfest :th:

Route update, how does a 70 mile run sound to everyone?

We will be going in the route as described in the first post, but taking a slight detour through Chipping Norton, Burford, Northleach, Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow-on-Wold, Moreton-in-Marsh, and then onto Willersley for a bite to eat...

Little bit far for me chris, but only because I'm coming from Gloucester so will be travelling along most of the route to get to the start point.

Maybe somewhere in between the two distances, 50 miles ish.

Of course, if everyone else is in favour of the longer run then I'm happy. :-)

Fair enough, what I'll do is get a few routes up together and then we can have a chat about it at the services before we set off see what everyone thinks before we go... :th:
