No worries mate, although I can't take all the credit. This one was certainly a joint effort :th:

Had a great day, my pics are mainly on instagram And nothing special.
I'd like to say thanks to tlf for the run route.
Was nice to meet people in person.
Glad shinny made it in the end, that tyre was ruined!
I should of introduced myself to you Jay, as we were all chatting at the end before we left.

Glad you all enjoyed it... Makes it worthwhile :th:

Some great pics coming through :yh:

I think we might be onto something with an annual trip before the show season starts.... What do we think? Keep it in mind as a possible yearly run?

Rally route, you ain't kidding! :laughing I thought we were going to drive into the clouds at one point! My car didn't like the stretch where Vinny lost his under tray though, I was all over the shop with a modicum of boost, too much muck on the road, and those cattlegrids rattled, well, everything in the car and me!

First of all, big thanks to Jay for putting this out there as an Idea and then following through with it, I imagine a huge amount of organisation went on behind the scenes. :th:

Also big thanks to all of the regional reps for sorting it out, everything went relatively smoothly overall for almost everyone with only a couple of minor hiccups and the weather was pretty decent for February! :clapping:

TLF, cheers for sorting out an epic run up to the Cotswolds with a nice pub to stop off at for lunch, certainly some roads I'm planning on revisiting. I managed to retrace myself and enjoy them again on the way home! :th:

Was good to see some old and new faces and catch up with a few people. Definitely think this is one for the calendar next year. This community as always has shown how friendly it is to everyone, was cool to see a variety of cars there today, just a shame only one mk1 came out of hiding for the day

I'll try and put some pics up later, but big thanks to everyone again, it was an awesome day! :notworthy:

If you are referring to Ian's Red Mk1, it was a struggle to keep up with it at times!!! Awesome bit of kit :th:

His engine had a few more cubic inches than mine though

Yes, only got a quick scan over it but I heard it was packing a V6 in the back! Any idea which engine and power output? defiantly sounded like a hoot!

2GR

Probably circa 300+ bhp, but the torque was immense. I could catch it on boost, but not when in the wrong gear lol
