What Jobs do MR2 Owners Do and Where? Which Mr2 Do You Have?

Post by parker455 »

Student, 2 turbos, no money, 21 years old.
One works, one doesn't. One is a rolling chassis at the moment with the engine being built, the other is my daily. Both white, one bodykitted, daily is standard but has a good look to it!

Daily is a rev2 and project to be completed in the next couple of weeks is a rev3 turbo.

Sworn that my next car will be something newer but we'll see haha

Daily (white and black):

New to the forums, but I drive a skip lorry for my work, and I drive a Mark 3 Roadster...

I am 45, as mechanically minded as a door knob, but have an urge to learn how to do the required things to my "roller skate"

And yes I love it :bleh:

Mk2 rev3 N/A
Still working for Transport for London, but in Feb 2012 I passed training and I'm now a Train Operator on the Jubilee Line.

Also changed cars, the N/A lost its battle with the corrosion gods. I'm now driving a Rev 3 Turbo.

I build networks for the country's favourite bank RBS, I also support various interplatform applications and core IT services.

Been here almost a decade and despite the perceived bad publicity it is a good place to work with some decent people.

I work for an independent music distributors. They say vinyl is dead, but we've got a warehouse full of it! I work on the digital side of things though, working with a few hundred record labels, managing their digital release catalogue.

My MR2 is my daily, does around 25,000 miles a year. 1999 Rev5 Sonic Shadow NA:

I can buy nearly anything we have at the dealer price, which is the price that the shops pay. I can get the odd bit here and there for free too as a promo copy. I keep meaning to have a good dig through the catalogue to find a handful of things I really want, I've just never got round to it!

Also work part time as a PAT Tester and Legionella Risk Assessor this means I can actually drive a mk2 Rev2 n/a in yellow at the weekend
