Well thermostat is fitted and re filled the coolant and appear to have sprung a leak 🤔 I'm hoping it's just where it "censored" out everywhere but who knows I'm hoping it the normal time and place for the start? If so I shall tag along if it's alright

Nothing like leaving it to the last minute!
Usual start location but the run begins at 06.15 sharp

Just been out to re check to make sure everything is fine, pushed her down the road a bit on a dry park of the road and it's "censored" out again 😢 so I really think I have a leak somewhere.... Don't think we are going to make your final run Tony, I have put back everything the same way as I found it but I think I may have disturbed something somewhere when I have been pulling the damn thing about like a brute. Have a good run guy I shall wake up at silly o'clock and have another gander with a torch but it's unlikely we'll be joining you

Well what can I say other than very very eventful. Certainly one to remember!

I'm now without a working MR2 even though I have four! Perfect time to stop for some winter re build projects!

Sorry to hear that Andy.

Perhaps it would be easier if Patrick just moved in with you for a few months?

Well, the gremlins certainly came out to play today.
A memorable end to the season for all the wrong reasons!

If you have any pics to share please post them here - https://www.mr2oc.co.uk/forums/80/167221.html

A huge THANK YOU to the regulars and indeed everyone who has participated in the KR over the last 10 years. As I hang up my organiser's hat, I'll leave you with the words of Mr Sinatra.

And now, the end is near
And so I face the final curtain
My friend, I'll say it clear
I'll state my case, of which I'm certain
I've lived a life that's full
I traveled each and every highway
And more, much more than this, I did it my way

Regrets, I've had a few
But then again, too few to mention
I did what I had to do and saw it through without exemption
I planned each charted course, each careful step along the byway
And more, much more than this, I did it my way

The baton is now in the capable hands of Andy Ayres who will be leading the Kent Irregulars in future.
I'll still be taking part as often as circumstances permit but as 'Tail End Charlie'. :)
If you're not living life on the edge, you're taking up too much room!
