What a day that was! My first time on a race track and I loved every second of it, I’ve still got loads to learn but it was so much fun.
Gutted I didn’t get any pics or videos but it’s probably better that there’s no footage of my lack of driving abilities.

Definitely want to get back out on track again in the new year. This could start getting very expensive.

Also a big thanks to Gareth of organising, gutted you didn’t get much time out on track.

Hi everyone, it's Patrick here with the cosmos blue rev 5 NA.

I have quickly thrown together the vids I got from Saturday in movie maker. Starts with about 2 minutes of fly-bys past the pit wall (think I got everyone) then a couple laps from my dash cam. I got a couple fly-bys and a lap or so following you Angelo!

https://youtu.be/1uHbjvaypi4

Dash cam highlights:
@ 3:10 Great advert for V6 conversions as the Red 2GR turns into a tiny dot along the front straight.
@ 8:30 Hearing the 'charged mk1 whine from inside my car!

If anyone else remembers seeing me on track then let me know and I'll have a better dig through the vids (I have over an hour of footage...). I had my number plates taped up so should've been easy to spot.

Great to meet you Patrick!

I see you got a clip of mine as well, even though it was only on track for about 10 minutes :D

Hi Patrick
Thanks for sharing your footage with us and sorry for holding you up for a couple of laps. It’s always nice to meet other Mr2 owners

Great to meet you too dude, was a good selection of cars.

Here's my videos from the day, very limited to my short stint out on track before mechanical issues on both occasions. Also rubbish audio due to a vibrating camera on the centre cubby box, lots of of improvements to be made next time!

Thoroughly enjoyed the day. Big :th: to Gazza for organising.
A real shame that both he and Woody suffered an attack of the gremlins.
Thanks to Angelo for helping me secure my exhaust bung after its bid for freedom!
Bonus points to Patrick for the video clips. :)
If you're not living life on the edge, you're taking up too much room!

Looking at March for the next one perhaps, I certainly won't be able to afford another this month with the clutch replacement and Jan/Feb is too much of a risk with the weather IMO!

Once 2019 dates are available I'll have a look through and post up some dates.

Glad everyone enjoyed Snetterton! I know it lacks the elevation change you'd find at Brands Hatch and Cadwell Park, but I think it's a great circuit with a good mix of fast and slower technical corners.

Cool footage Patrick - was good to meet you. I had a great day and it's nice to see some video of our cars - and see how quick yours was on r888s :)

Hopefully we do something similar again next spring and we can all catch again then ?

You weren't holding me up Angelo, I was just admiring your mk1!

It was great meeting everyone.

Yea, can't recommend R888s enough to anyone... it's a night and day difference to standard road tyres and means occasionally I actually overtake people!

Was great to meet you Patrick.
Great video.
Any chance you could send me the fly by ones of mine? My mapper was asking if I could get him some for his website
Definitely up for another one but yeah spring would be best.
