Hi Trev,

about to get the sills on my Rev 1 T-bar replaced and want to pass the templates onto the guys doing the metal work (I can barely change a bulb!) but I notice that there are no dimensions? Any clues re paper/image size for the PDF documents as I want to make sure they print out at the correct size!

Have downloaded the templates so many thanks to Trevor, will now fabricate them & the 2 will live again

I tried to get the sills fabricated but due to the fact that I only wanted one set the cost was too much. My son in law recommended Blitz Bodyshop in Fareham, it's only a small place (2 people) & they have done an amazing job

The rot inside was almost terminal & had spread further than originally estimated

Blitz replaced all the sills using the templates & stone-chipped them too all for 390!

Hi . I've just finished reading through this write up and it's extremely helpful. However, the sill templates don't seem to be where the link takes me to. Can anyone help me find them please?

The link works fine for me.
Look at the top of the page, there's a link named Downloads, follow that link to the Downloads section, then click Technical Stuff / MK2 / MK2 Sill Repair Templates.

6 years on i still look at this thread one of the best ever

& a top bloke to do the PDFs for others to use

Indeed Brian, it was very good of Trevor to make them available They are still downloaded regularly, almost every week
Just been through thread and sorted the download links (some of them were out of date)
Anyone who has trouble getting the links to work can always go directly to Downloads via the top menu link
