At last trawl through the internet; these were the weights I found.

Gen2 3SGE - 125kg
3VZFE - 220kg
1MZFE - 185kg

Cannot remember the weight of the 3SGTE sorry. I do remember that it was rather close to the 1MZ.

It's probabaly about 20kg heavier than an N/A lump.

with the mods you've mentioned and a good dose of headwork other cars on 3vz engines see around the 210 mark.

Just thought I'd add to this, I will shortly be joining the V6 club in January, hopefully bagged myself a local 3VZ camry this week coming and I have chosen that engine for a few reasons really:
Cheaper!
I'm doing all the work myself, and from what I can see its less hassle.
Theres alot of free mods if you're doing it yourself to acheive near on the performance of a 1MZ e.g Headwork.
Oh and, Cheaper!

So from what I've seen, if you're doing it yourself, I'd personally go for a 3VZ otherwise - it might be more cost effective to buy a 1MZ.
