OK,

Before I finalise the details on a new thread Thursday night, Is everyone happy with the 50 mile drive (90mins to 2 hours) around the Peaks and then the lunch as specified before?

I knew you would bud - you're my convoy wingman for this run if you want the job? (I'll supply the walkie talkies).

Could you follow up from behind and follow my smoke machine so on the walkie talkies we don't lose anyone in the middle? There are a few busy roads we will have to negotiate across so we aren't going to be in one long convoy the whole way so we will have to stop a couple of times and wait for folk.

I can do that, maybe even print off a few maps too. :)

Jeez you Luddite - you not got a sat nav!!!

:laughing

But yes, will PDF the whole route from google maps and colour print them so everyone knows where to go including shots from street view. Even Topgums could stay on the route!

I've also a passenger seat going spare if anyone wants to help me out* (or just have a meal and a ride) and I can drop them back at Carsington water afterwards.

*note - if you have back problems this isn't for you!*

Im fine with the route. If people dont fancy the drive they can always just meet for lunch.

im up for this also mr2 rev1 with rev2 turbo conversion... if i can get it running right :( used the special paperclip trick and pulled ecu codes 12 21 24 34 43 51 52, replaced dizzi cap, leads and coil... so it now starts but still missing and nearly cutting out, and hitting fuel cut triggering ecu light again with exactly the same codes.. :(
