ONe question for Julian - did you make sure the scales were zero'd before you stood on them? We made sure they were actually showing 0kg with nothing on them, so if you didn't then it wouldn't be a big surprise you had an underweight team. For example, if they were initially 10kg out, then between your 7 team members you weighed in 70kg heavier than you should have been - with that extra weight you could easily have had an 8th person on your team.

I'm sorry you feel unfairly treated, but we were completely inside the rules and weighed just as your team did.

Exactly, we saw before we weighed in the scales were not on 0 but in fact about 10- 15kg up.

Not our problem if other teams don't have the brain cells (your words) to notice that.

Also we don't weigh in in boots to keep the weight down. When I weigh in in a proper competition my boys weigh in in pants.

Hi Julian, how lovely to hear from you, it is nice to pick up new members from meeting at shows, esp something as big as JAE, Hope you stick around, we are a nice friendly sociable club :grouphug: we don't hold grudges just because you don't drive a 2

Anyway just to let you know who I am - I'm the guy in the black rugby shirt who was the ancher man on the day, I also went on to win the "Feel the pain Endurance" by 7 seconds and the "Car Pull" at 10.16 seconds with a very painful carf injury with I picked up on the 2nd step in to the 20 meter pull, (Sure I could of done it in sub 10 seconds if I hadn't of hurt my leg,) "nd place and I think 4th place where also MR2OC tow team Members. Neither of these events relied much on weight just pure muscle power, so it goes to show I might weight in at 120Kgs (according to JAE top Quality Scales) the power and strength is there and it is the same for the rest of the team,

If you or your fellow club members would like a few pointers on putting together a more competative TOW team for next year, please just ask and we would be more than willing to help you out with advice from using our past experiance, it would be nice to have a team that will make us work for our wins next year,

Actually we might just write a How 2 for any of the other teams to use as well, make it more of a general competitive day out for all :th:

Hope to see you around again and please feel free to visit our stand next year and join in the fun there as well as in the IKO arena, :th:
