Some if you may be wondering why I haven't posted any results just yet.

Truth be told I'm not sure. It's definitely not because I've misplaced the sheet.

Definitely.

I'm still baffled how that happened, but it's no biggie. For obvious reasons Charlie didn't want to make any alterations on the day. He told me there is no reason why it shouldn't perform as intended once it has been sorted.

For everyone's information, when I eventually find the sheet I'll be posting;

Username / spec / flywheel BHP / comments

So mine will read;

_Al_ / stock Rev 3 turbo / 206 BHP / Good boost & fuelling, suspect timing left retarded after engine overhaul.

If anyone doesn't want their results published (I've had one already for a very sensible reason) please let me know.

Sorry, yes, all cars will be posted unless requested. I'm pleased to report that I haven't lost the camera!

Ok, starter for 10. Here come the "public results". Quite a few people didn't manage to attend (blame the snow!) so that helps the secretive types stay secret, and we do have quite a few.

In no particular order (much!):

3S-GE...

Timmo / stock Rev 3 / 157 BHP / 7bhp better than the previous attempt as the Cat had been sorted.

ShrewdPhoenix / Oddshoes / Rev 4 NA / 158 BHP / running a bit rich so lost a few against expectation. Later discovered a vac hose popped off - SEE, THESE SESSIONS ARE USEFUL! :)

3S-GTE...

_Al_ / rev 3 turbo with Apexi induction / 206 BHP  / good boost, good fuelling, no power. Suspect timing out after head rebuild.

AlexO / Rev 3 Turbo, decat, intercooler, induction / 246 BHP / running very rich. This car has much more to give.

MR2TurboTom / Rev 2 Turbo / Breathing mods / 246 BHP / No comment recorded (any words for us Tom?)

PBee / Rev 3 Turbo / Breathing mods, Blitz Turbo, XS power IC / 297 BHP / Very pleased, tad rich.

Willenium / Rev 3 Turbo / Breathing mods, IC, Induction, Exhaust, decat, EBC / 299 BHP / It was more last time!

V6... (Gav - help... Which one was it again?)

Gavsdavs / V6 Conversion / Custom exhaust, logged OBD management system / 292 BHP / Happy & healthy

Loony...

Olly.Dent / MR2 TSI / Turbo and Supercharged / 396 BHP! / (any comment Olly?)

Lots of typos likely as I've blasted through this while hoovering and sorting out a mortgage problem so apologies in advance for any mistakes - drop me a PM and I'll sort it tomorrow when I upload the pictures.

Al we need to see if we can sort out your timing but its mad that it should be out so much just after having your head rebuilt

Tom has agreed to take a look at it on Sunday mate. He's got all the gear so we'll soon see one way or other. Shouldn't be hard to feel another 50ish BHP turning up, and it should really be more, given the head overhaul.

Was a shame the Super charger was not running right, but watching the engine on the dyno gave me some interesting info. :)

Still a hoot to drive without it. :laughing

Was a great day out and hope to drive it more this year.

2gr-fe
Fidanza flywheel
Apexi induction
Goukys headers
Mongoose silencer
Woodsport midsection
Standard ECU.

Suspect a more free breathing silencer and optimax would give me a few bhp at the top end but it's about the torque no text speak :-)

I was happy with my results. As long as it wasn't below stock power.
Mods are-
K&N cone filter,
3" decat,
HKS Superdragger,
Mbc set to standard 10psi, just helps spool atm.

Also confirmed what I thought, that the fuel pump is shot as was a little but not dangerously lean. Better fit the walbro that's sat in my toolbox! Then up the boost!
