How I've done the tweeters:
Just used some araldite rapid setting glue to old them in. After about 20 minutes of curing, they aren't going to move, after a couple hours they are secure enough to go in the car. Covered the back of them with the sound deadening mats.
Another way is to make an adapter to fit them to the OE mountings. I did it this way because it's quick and easy, and looks pretty decent. Just need to remove a bit of excess glue.

I just removed the tweeter from the oem bracket and fitted mine to it
As I toyota positioning seems good, I put sound deadening behind, looks stock now
On my old build I built the vibe tweeters in with the vibe surround
which was a fail as they were a bit big and pushed it out at the seal slightly with the door shut
so had to redo it
without the surround

Nice, didn't realise the OE bracket would come off and fit. Depends on if you want to show off your tweeters then Jay!

Ahhh, OK. The Hertz ones do have a threaded hole in the middle (and comes with some extra mounting stuff), the Rainbow ones didn't have that.

Hmm.... I think I'm going to resurrect this thread and have a look again.... I keep looking, changing my mind about whether I want to do a build or not and then go to a show.....
It's the last real thing the Rev3 needs to be finished I suppose.....
