God knows how mine let go , but need to find out before I fit another Engine , It happened last week on my day off went on a shopping trip with the wife about 70 mile round trip no problem at all checked oil before we left , came home for a cuppa then popped to my wife’s shop in the next village about 1.5 miles and while waiting for her the temp gauge started to rise , turned her off let her cool down then limped her home with blue smoke when pulling away, started her up yesterday and seemed fine until warm then the smoke and pressure build up in the cooling system , gutted although I have wanted a V6 transplant for a while . My Son wants me to Turbo it but as it’s my daily I think V6 is the better option .

Sorry for your car troubles mate, it's happened to all of us at some point. I've started looking at 2grs recently as prices of rx350s are starting to come down.

Hello to all..ive just joined today as ive just bought a old mk2 rev 1 in red that needs a bit of love ..im in essex..so up for a day out with my son..as its my first time on the site what does the day consist of..cheers

Can i put our names down for this & are kids allowed..hes 10 yrs old & a proper jdm nut..hence why ive bought another..ive ran 2 previously & sold them..inc a st205 celica gt4..various mx5s ..but this ones for my 16 year old daughter in a years time..so il be on the hunt for another before aug next year..

Format is a dawn start *, a drive of around 100 miles with a photo stop en route, finish at a cafe for breakfast.

Geo done, all good on paper but not had a proper test drive by me other than alignment shop to home.

Mechanic who road tested it was impressed with it though, and with the place being a Lotus specialist that's quite a compliment!
