No worries but getting back to the big question of the best tyres, its all good to discus it but at the end of the day the "Best Tyres" can cost a whole lot more money so there maybe no point in even discussing it unless your prepared to stump up the cash.

Pretty sure the likes of the R888's have gone up quite a bit in price as well over the years, Toyo has probably figured out they had no competition at the price point they offer these for. Bridgestone also made some fantastic semi-slicks in 15inch, the RE55S but the price was off the planet and even I wasn't going to fork out that much.

Interesting video, I found about 2% in lap time going from T1r to Hancock,s. Similar to them. I am looking at going to coil overs and would be happy with their additional 2%.

Ended up going with Falken Azenis RT615K+ 215/40/17 front and 235/40/17 and they look great! Thanks a ton for all your help and suggestions!!

Anyone any experience with the new toyo proxes tr1? Just bought a staggered set 215 40 front and 235 45 rear 17 in it's the replacement for the t1r just got delivered from camskill yesterday £280 delivered and have to say they look the part
