Hello everyone,
I am planning a rear brake overhaul i.e. new discs / calipers and backplates along with any cables etc. for the barely adequate handbrake.
The only thing l am struggling with is obtaining some replacement back plates.
Please could anyone advise.
Best wishes,
Phil Wood.

Changing the backing plates is a big job. Thats why lots of people just rip off the old rusted ones and leave them.

Really!? That's a real shame but thanks for the info.
I'm currently thinking the same thing and updating the callipers, discs and pads. Is it still a pain once everything has been taken out?
Like the OP, it'd be nice to have it all looking A1
