East Midlands ideas thread.

Hey guys :th:

So, we are starting to pick up a good crowd in this area now. Time to get some ideas together for runs/meets in the area.
We have a few good ideas coming together that I have listed below, now is time to show your knowledge of the area and make some suggestions....

An ongoing thing is the OC hospital meets which are starting to become popular but we need some social "enjoy the car" ideas

So far we have....

1. Donnington F1 museum (Tallboy)
2. Track day (Jonn1boy)

Make yourself heard :th:

How about a rolling road session; attended one via MR2OC at Corton Miller, Boston a couple of years ago (Tallbooy hopefully will remember) :) Was a good day, very well attended.

Nice idea :th:

Is there somewhere in say Leicester that can hold this? Somewhere quite central to everyone?

We're MIDlanders, not northerners!

I know Gord at SMRC Streetracers, my friend spends a lot of time down there mapping his cars. If you want to organise a rolling road day I can have a chat with him. He's recently moved premises to a bigger unit so getting a bunch of us down there won't be a problem.

Donington

Rockingham
Cadwell park

Have a missed any?

Getting a price of £99-150 for an open pitlane :th:

You may need exhaust bungs at donington tho lol

Are there any hill climbs or sprints in the area? HM may be able to point use in the right direction here?:-)
