HI, anyone know if the bars from a Mk3 spyder are a direct replacement for those in a 1991 Targa?

Doubt it they are totally different cars

no but I have spare ones

MK3 MR2 was marketed as the Toyota MR-S in Japan, Toyota MR2 Spyder in the US, and the Toyota MR2 Roadster in Europe
MK1/MK2's were not Targas they were T-Bars (or T-Tops) not forgetting Moonroofs and Tin tops

Jimi, the guy advertising the bars said they were from a MK3 Spyder, which from your post is n't right. The reason I asked was that his asking price is a lot less than others which no doubt are the right ones for a Mk2.

There was a MK2 Spyder, but very rare, only something like 90 built, so I doubt it from one of them.

MK3 Spyder was the American version which was pretty much identical to the Roadster and MRS, he could be just using the wrong names?
