I don't have a Mk3.

Without a softtop there's no chance of getting a decent parking place...

You're right. Just checked the Breakfast Club page. T bars & Targas qualify. :th:
I've applied for a pass but there's no guarantee of getting one. If not I really don't fancy being shunted off to the public parking area and will probably give it a miss.

Be warned that even if you do get one it might not stop one of their marshals from directing you to the wrong slot. They tried that on last time I went (Sushi Sunday) and I had to sneak through a gate which had been inadvertently left open in order to get into the track area.

My pass has arrived. :th:

And remember if your roof’s not down, you’re not coming in! (Unless it’s raining, which it never, ever, does at Goodwood… honest!)

Fingers crossed for plenty of sunshine. :D

I'll be there, I got my pass the other day in the post.

Glad to see a couple of people are going, even if one of them is in a Porsche ;)

I didn't get much of a response...

:confused1: Mine came by e-mail as a .pdf attachment. Mustn't forget to fire up the printer!

Yeah. I'm quite surprised he posted on here tbh. He'll be slumming it with the ricers. :p

It's enough to get him banned from the Porsche forum(s)... ;)

It's the same reason that the Kent Run is seldom oversubscribed. An early start.

Too many people don't like getting out of bed on a Sunday morning.

In reality it needs to be quite a bit earlier than that. Otherwise we won't get a decent parking slot.

@Pete. Convoy down? Mark, we could meet up somewhere along the A272.

Well at this moment the weather forecast for all of Sunday in the Goodwood area looks quite good, with no rain during the day.
I must try and get there.

Was looking at the route Tony... I'm happy to head north if it assists in plotting a better route as the A27 is rather boring.

Noticed your post on pistonheads last night.. We could use some of the 267 / turners hill / 272 etc instead.

I could always meet you up near Sevenoaks or Ide hill.

Doesn't seem much point in your going out of your way to Ide Hill. Why not head across to Speldhurst and Langton Green? We could hook up at the White Horse Inn in Holtye. I reckon 06.00 should be OK - I can't remember whether they allow access to the circuit before 08.00 or not.

Sorry I've been very inactive over the last couple of weeks, I did get the pass via email must have been half asleep!

Lol he just recognises superior machinery when he sees it ;)

I can't say I'm a fan of early starts but needs must, I would meet up with you on route but I'm staying in East Wittering this evening so I have a nice a simple 20 minute blast into the circuit in the morning from the wrong direction. I will see you trackside I suppose. :th:

FYI gates open from 7am I believe and it gets mobbed quickly, I'm planning on being as close to 7 as possible. Weathers looking good swell! :yahoo:

Cool.. White horse it is. Open at 7am, would be nice to get there early for a decent spot.. I know it's early, but 5.30 ok for you?
