Headlight beam adjustment

Afternoon all

I've been reading up on how to adjust the headlight beam as my drivers side is a little high now I've got the light working properly.

I've read that you have to use screws on the lense itself? I can only find, what seems to be, four screws that hold the lense to the motor frame.

Are these the ones I need to adjust or am I looking at the wrong ones?

Any help appreciated

Reece

You need to remove the surround cover and there are screw located to the side and bottom of each lens for adjustment,I believe the bottom adjuster does the height.

You don't need to remove the plastic surround. If you look at the headlight from the front there's two half round slots in the plastic, one bottom middle and one left side middle, they allow you to slip a screwdriver in to the adjusters.
IIRC you need a Philips/Posidrive head

Morning all

Found the screws so thanks for you help.

Bad thing is they and the thread and knackered so can hardly adjust them anyways. Will need to look at getting some new ones.

Thanks again

Removing the headlight motor fuse is a good idea, must remember to do that next time. I think most of use have accidentally lowered the lights after testing a new bulb without screwing the lamp in first! :laughing
